The Gods have grown tired of their endless existence. In order to escape into the sweet arms of death and rebirth, they force pieces of their power on humans they deem worthy.
After encountering a God and being forced to receive this power you fall into a death like sleep that can be a few hours or a few months and wake to find yourself on a tropical island. The Garden of Olympus is inhabited by mythical creatures and fairy tales of both friendly and unfriendly nature. It’s not long before a wandering human is pointed to The Altar, the boarding school where all cursed with God’s power come to learn.
